Shotkeep betaBack to homeShotkeep is a self-hosted screenshot tool. This page explains what it stores, why, and what you can do about it. Last updated July 20, 2026.
This instance of Shotkeep is operated privately, not by a company. It is an invite-only beta. Questions, or a request to remove your data, go to svryxod@gmail.com.
No advertising, no third-party analytics, no tracking pixels. We do not sell or share your data with anyone.
Everything is stored on the server that runs this instance — not on a third-party cloud. Files are served over an encrypted connection. Shared link pages are markednoindex, so a link works for whoever you gave it to but does not show up in search engines.
Captures stay on your own computer until you choose to upload them. The app checks this server for a newer version over HTTPS and, if you confirm, downloads and installs it. It sends nothing else.
The service is provided as-is, with no warranty, during an open beta and may change or pause at any time. Do not upload content that is illegal or that you do not have the right to share; accounts that do can be blocked. You keep ownership of everything you upload.
If this page changes materially, the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use Shotkeep after that means the new version applies.
